Koulten Herbert delivered a commanding performance Saturday night in the 602 Special at Senoia Raceway, putting on a clinic at his home track in front of family, friends, and hometown supporters.

Herbert wasted no time establishing himself as the driver to beat, laying down the fastest lap in qualifying to earn the pole position for the feature event. From the drop of the green flag, the Locust Grove, Georgia standout jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.
Over the course of the race, Herbert’s car was simply untouchable. He stretched his advantage lap after lap, navigating lapped traffic with precision and maintaining a blistering pace around the gumbo oval. By the time the checkered flag waved, Herbert had lapped half the field and held nearly a half-track advantage over the second-place finisher — a dominant margin rarely seen in such a competitive division.

The victory carried extra meaning as Senoia Raceway is Herbert’s home track, a place where he has built his reputation and consistently proven himself as a weekly contender. Continuing to perform at a high level there not only reinforces his status as one of the area’s top 602 Late Model drivers, but also strengthens his confidence as the season progresses.
In a field stacked with talent, Herbert’s wire-to-wire triumph served as a statement win — one that showcased speed, consistency, and complete control from start to finish.
