Georgia’s Koulten Herbert reigns victorious in UCRA at Fort Payne Motor Speedway. Fort Payne Motor Speedway hosted the UCRA on Sat., Aug. 30th for a $2,000-to-win prize. Chip Brindle set the fast time, with Herbert outside and Tyler Hughes third. Brindle set sail and looked to have the win secured until a left rear flat forced the first and only caution on lap 24 of the 30-lap feature event. Herbert inherited the lead and went on to win his first UCRA event, with Tyler Hughes’ best UCRA finish coming in second and Jessie Hughes third, current UCRA points leader Bradley Lewelling had a solid points night, finishing fourth, with Matt Steward rounding out the top five. Fort Payne Motor Speedway will host weekly racing this Sat., Sept. 6th.
